What We Do

Our huge expertise in transcription services, which we render throughout Australia, makes us stand out in terms of quality and on-time delivery.

We have our typists distributed across many parts of Australia, this enables us to process large volumes of audio and offer superior transcription services to all our clients. Typically, we will deliver a 60-minute audio within 2-3 working days, and for larger projects, up to 10 audio hours per week.

As part of my PhD research I had case study notes from 18 recordings transcribed by DAATS generating 763 pages of transcript all of which was completed promptly.

The error rate was extremely low and related to technical terms or poor pronunciation which was inevitably accompanied by a time tag, indicating the transcribers concern and allowing me to easily find and correct the issue.

Other companies’ web sites stated that the standard rate was for “BBC quality” recordings with a surcharge for poorer recordings. DAATS stated that there was a surcharge payable if the recording were not of a good enough quality but no surcharges were requested even though there was some background noise (one recording was made at a roadside cafe although the rest were in side rooms adjacent to active office environments).

I would strongly recommend DAATS for anybody wanting prompt and efficient transcriptions.
